The Vampyer A Tale

The Vampyre: A Tale
It took me a while to get into it I didn’t like it very much at the begging because the style wasent the best. After I got used to it the story was ok. It was a little perdicptle at points. I think that Aubrey knew he was going to be turned into a vampire or at least that is what it seemed like. It was a little hard to understand and was really hard to get into so I can’t really say much more about it.

Vampire Knight

Vampire Knight
I thought how they prorated vampires in the manga was like they do in a lot of books. The vampires had class at night witch probly meant they couldn’t go out in day light. I also thought it seemed a lot like twilight but backwards, because the two chaters zero and yuiki seemed like bella and Edward. I did like the whole thing with valtines day. But the end was hard because there were a lot of different things going on and it was hard to keep track of what was going on. It was the very first manga I have read and I thought it was good so I might read some more soon.

4 Short Stories

4 Short Stories
1). The Book of Vampires by: Dudley Wright
I found out a lot about vampires that I never knew before I read it. I never thought of the people that gets their blood sucked was asleep. I also never knew about the whole thing with cutting off the head filling the mouth with garlic and placing the head back in the coffin. To me what I think was the most interesting part of the story was the story About the boy that was young enough to be innocent, when they made him sit upon a basically perfect horse and ride to a ceminatery and walk over all the graves and if the horse would not walk over a gave no matter how many times hit that, that grave held a vampire. I think that is one of the smartest things I have heard about trying to find a vampire, I really like that method.

2). The Phantom World by; Augustin Calmet
This story was a little more confusing. I did like the part when they the author talks about the “vampire” Arnald Paul. I thought that was really interesting because of the weird things that happened. But now that I think about it I like the story that had to do with the unknown person coming to the dinner table. I was surprised by the next morning the man coming up dead. I also think the excuse that the solder gave why the man was dead was a very reasonable and good response. I liked it because I love vampires and I sort of think they are real so ya.

3). Tale of a Russian Vampire by: Helena Petrovna Blavatsky
So far I like this story the most and not because it is the shortest. I like it a lot because it was like a real story and it was really interesting. I was surprised because the man wife did not turn into a vampire she was just hurt more and more each night till it killed her. The governor stationed a lot of guards at the bridge and they eventually caught the vampire her husband. It was just too late for his daughter. I think it was really interesting but not oringale because there are a lot of vampire stories like that and some similar to that on but I still think it was the best one so far.

4). Vampires of Roumania by: Agnes Murgoci
I liked this one also but I liked the third one more. I didn’t really like the second [part of this one I didn’t really understand it I thought it was a little confusing so I can’t say much about it. I did however like the first part The Girl and the Vampire. I liked that she did see something that night but kept saying that she didn’t because the wise woman told her to say that I would have been like ok, ok id did see something when the vampire said that you’re farther will die. I think that she kept saying the she didn’t see anything because she eventually became free from the vampire and I think the wise woman knew that she should and that is why the wise woman told her do that crazy stuff.
